T.Stray with Geir Hauge Art Advisor, Oslo, The Consul General Harriet Berg and Clifford Chanin, Executive Vice President & Director of the 9/11 Memorial Museum New York,New York.

“I think this picture belongs here. It feels right,” says visual artist Torild Stray.

“In 1997–1998, Stray was given the opportunity to work high up in the World Trade Center, where she painted the dizzying view from nearly one hundred floors above ground. Among the artworks she produced was New York Metamorphosis, a five-meter-long, 160-centimeter-high charcoal drawing depicting the urban landscape….”
